Feel the love within you, allow it to say, “I love you”, and give yourself an inner Namaste.

How Do You Love You Daily?

It is time to be your own valentine.  My thoughts turned to the many ways I do love myself daily. Besides being Valentine’s day, it is also for time to really focus on the message that I received sitting in a dialysis chair back in July 2011.

Love – that is what this is all about, Suzie. It’s all about love. You will be healed when you see and feel only love for yourself first and then you will be all that you have to love and to give.

When it is totally anchored in inner peace and the feeling of pure joy that allows the awakening that is already you to emerge.

That’s the inspiration: that’s the ripple effect.”

I have made a commitment to my accountability buddy, Heather to have the draft of my book:  “Lucky To Be Alive: How I Used the Law of Attraction and the Power of Self-Love to Save My Life” completed by March 31st 2017.

I know to meet that deadline that every day will count. This means I will have to have good vibes everyday and do that I need to check in everyday and make sure I am loving myself.

It is so easy to sacrifice our daily spiritual practices because we feel we don’t have time. Then in comes the overwhelm, the stress, we get sick and in an effort to speed up the process we actually sabotage ourself. We have to watch the conditioned reflex on how we deal with deadlines. Being the dealine queen I totally get this.

Then I asked this question on my Facebook page (you can read all the ways others love themselves) and in the Heart Whisperers Group

How Do You Love You Daily?

The response was wonderful and also was a reminder to many to create the time and space to take time to do one thing a day to  love ourselves which is crucial to empowering ourself. . Many people said they didn’t have a daily way, they had to think about it, they were getting back to it, not enough…………

These comments had me thinking how important it is to carve out time daily to love ourselves. This is a challenge, unless we make it a daily habit.  Katt Tozier  reinforced thos with here comment: I’ve been really conscientious about nurturing myself in the recent few weeks – I’ve had a lifelong pattern of sacrificing myself and I’ve committed to not doing that anymore. I’ve made my yoga, meditation, nutrition, rest, nature walks and more a top priority.

Another observation i made was that only one person said there was one thing they did daily that empowered them and that was Heart Whisperer Tanya Levy who said: Taking time to breathe ♡ so inportant. Stop for a minute now and just breathe.

Here are 10 other ways to empower you daily to love more each day.

To empower you and  celebrate being your own valentine I have made you a special meditation: The I Love You Meditation ( 8 mins). One of the Heart Whisperers said after the Weekly Meditation session: Thank you I feel peace

Did the meditation empower you? Did you find it easy to say I love you?

  1. Love the different things everyone is doing to take care of themselves. Some days, I’m so busy I forget about myself, and then the next day I’m so exhausted. I’m starting to be more mindful and take the time to give myself a loving break. Thanks for a collection of great tips.

    1. Joyce I know it is so easy to forget to put ourself first and what you have said and that you expereince is wht we need to get selfish in the best way so we then are more effective for all xxx

  2. I try to take time each day to be mindful. Sometimes it is during a meal … I really take time to savor every bite and use all of my senses while I am eating, not multitasking. Other times, since I have 5 kids, I lock myself into a room and just take a minute to acknowledge my feelings, take a few breaths and reconnect with myself and my surroundings. Loving oneself is not something that comes easily to many people but it is so very important. Thank you for sharing!

    1. Love it Summer, so often we do not savor the food we are eating as we are as you say multitasking. It looks to me as if you have your loving you times in place. thanks for sharing xxx

  3. Such an important message Suzie, and I love seeing what others do to empower themselves each day. I am an unapologetic workaholic, but I love what I do so it doesn’t feel like work. But I also have daily rituals to nurture my own wellbeing, quite time in the morning when I first get up, walking in the woods behind my home with my dog, breaks during the day, and no news in the evening. One ritual I especially enjoy is before I turn off my computer at the end of the day I pop over to YouTube and watch something laugh-out-loud funny. What a terrific way to end the “work” day! Thanks for this inspiring post my friend. 🙂

    1. Hi Marquita, Love that you are an unapologetic workaholic- I see that more as doing the work you love and are here to do as you say it doesn’t feel like work . Now i believe I am on purpose I feel the same. Love you end of day routine 🙂 xxx

  4. An excellent selection of self-care or rather self-love tips, Suzie. There’s no excuse now to not be one’s own Valentine. 🙂

PS. Looking forward to reading your book in March.

  5. Great article Suzie…it’s amazing how many of us in the world have such a challenge with seeing the worthiness and value that we have. Doing something every day whereby we practice a form of self care is truly vital to our overall health, happiness and wellbeing. Let’s all make life good together!

  6. What a great list! It’s so easy to get swept into busyness. We truly have to make a commitment to take care of ourselves, which is such an important element of self love. I meditate everyday.

    1. Thank you Sandra. yes it is and i think that I had to get seriously ill to make that shift. Reading my journals for my book has been awakening too. I think meditation heals xxoo
