Gratituthanksgivingde is the most passionate transformative force in the cosmos. If you give thanks for five gits every day, in two months you may not look at your life in the same way as you might now.’ — Sarah Ban Breathnach

We don’t celebrate thanksgiving in Australia, although it is something I do daily.  I have so many US friends that I was inspired to make a beach inspiration just for this occasion. I then heard a whisper,  why not make a gratitude movie and so A Gift of Gratitude was born.

This time last year I was in hospital with a relapse of my kidney failure. Today I feel so blessed to be alive and on the way to being fully alive. Today I thank everyone who sent me love, prayers and support over the past 16 months. The movie is my gift  to you to say thank you.

The paintings are part of my Intuitive Heart series that was part of my healing journey, the beach inspirations  I make at Rainbow Bay beach when inspiration comes. the words flow from my heart when I listen to the whispers.  I have used this week’s Heart Whisper to end the movie with.

    1. Hi Debbie
I did a 30 day gratitude challenge online at my gratitude blog http://whatamigratefulfortoday.com and from there I started a paper based journal and i write in it each morning either before or after I meditate. Sometimes i miss and I just may that okay.. I also put a special cover on it of one of my paintings and keep it by the bed or where i meditate.
Giving thanks daily is so empowering and brings abundance
      Hope that helps

  1. Oh suzie Thank you for such a beautiful gift I am so grateful for all the amazing people I get to share my life with , being in the warmth, watching the birds navigate getting their feed as I watch from the living room window while the squirrel waits for his turn .

    1. Hi Mary,
wonderful to meet you and thanks for your comment, makes my heart sing. . Like you I feel so blessed that everyday I meet such likeminded supportive people online like you today because i dropped into ListaPalooza 🙂

  2. Hi Suzie, I bet it feels wonderful to be a year on from your illness and feeling so much better? Fabulous to read! My blog post was also about gratitude, so I’ll start by saying I’m grateful for my parents and how they brought me up; and hope my dad feels better soon!
I’m also grateful for my love, who’s been throuigh a hard time this year but I’m so happy that he’s back to his cheery self and reminding me of why I fell for him in the first place.
I’m grateful that I have so many friends, in person and online, who I can always turn to whether it’s for a rant over text, a coffee, a daft night out, or just to swap ideas and notes.
I’m grateful that John Hunt Publishing took a chance on me and gave me the opportunity to write the book I always told myself I would…and for Lisa Clark who’s been cheerleading me all the way with it.
I’m grateful that I’m able to work for myself, from home, and have a lifestyle many of my friends envy! I may not have much materially or financially but being free to do as I please is GREAT.

  3. I love the video. I have a gratitude journal and try to write each day what I have been grateful for that day. It helps me focus on the positive things that are in my life every day, otherwise the day passes and you really haven’t see the beauty that is all around.

    1. Hi Mary-Anne,
