be-grateful
Abundance flows from the wings of gratitude-
Suzie Cheel

Today I have so much to be grateful for……………..

My gratitude list gets longer  and longer and my heart overflows with joy and love. I do feel so abundant and so grateful.
I surprised myself and recognised the growth I had made. This was reflected was in the gifts I was able to see in each of these three events.

Not to mention what, in the past would have been my response especially to the websites being hacked and dropping my phone in the bath. I would have been so angry, would have gone into total fixit mode at whatever cost.  The stress factor would have been so high! Not a pretty picture.
Today I woke up with  my heart smiling and after my meditation I penned these few words before going to my happy place where each day I give thanks for the magic my life is.

Be Grateful

When I am truly grateful
I see the blessing I have
The clean running water that flows freely at the turn of the tap,

Light at the flick of a switch
Fresh food to eat and nourish my body every day
I know I am blessed
Daily, I give thanks for my life and my good health,
The people who help, love and support me

My heart is so full with love, joy and gratitude
I feel so blessed and
My heart whispers
Thank you

Each night I do write in my Gratitude Journal and go to sleep giving thanks for all the blessings from the day. This daily practice had been empowering and brings peace.

How do you give thanks daily?

Comment below and share 5 things you are grateful for today.

giving-thanks

All my love
Namaste,

Suzie Cheel

  1. Thanks Michele for joining in and I have been over to your gratitude group today, and I will drop in more often
Gratitude is such a gift that we can give to ourselves so freely

  2. I love it! We’re doing a series at church about being happy – truly happy – and I love the thought that happiness is NOT an achievement, but a state of mind. Being happy, grateful, content in the midst of trouble, heartache, and chaos is such an art! It sounds like you are great at this, so your heart is full even when trouble knocks on your door. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

    1. Hi Jenn
Thanks for visiting from UBC, great to meet you. thanks for sharing your happy story- love it
Yes the more grateful we become the easier it is when challenges come knocking 🙂

  3. Sorry to hear about the hacking, Suzie. Yes, gratitude is such a powerful tool. It’s so easy to forget how much we have to be grateful for everyday

    1. Well Baz there was a gift in the hacking only I do wish hackers would find other ways to amuse themselves and use their skills to do good in the world 🙂
Yes easy to do and easy to forget that is why keeping a gratitude journal becomes a gift you give to yourself

  4. Lovely! Posts like these always excite me. Hmmm, where to begin.

1-I am grateful for the unconditional support of my mother. I am amazed at the lengths she would to make sure that I am comfortable, even though I am an adult with my own family.
2-I am grateful for the last 2 days of rain after such a long dry spell. I am excited to see my plants bloom.
3-I am grateful that none of my sites were hacked during these last terrible weeks for WordPress users. Heaven knows how frustrating that would have been for me.
4-I am grateful for the opportunity to meet other like minded bloggers via the UBC Challenge (Glad to meet you, Suzie!)
5- I am grateful for miracles. The type that only happens when you couldn’t see a ray of hope.
