Do You Have A Spirit Guide?

Last week I did a follow up class from Soul Art Day and the painting above was my interpretation that flowed from the spirit guide ritual that I did with Laura Hollick.

We were asked to focus on some questions that you want an answer to and what you would love to receive guidance on.

My questions were:

Then we did a visualization where we went behind ourselves and stepped into our heart

Here is what my spirit guide shared with me:

Coming into my heart from the back was all black I was then led to a large amethyst crystal that led down a quartz crystal path to a rainbow bridge. Spirit Guide asked me to step into the rainbow as this was my way forward and my next step on my path to abundance.  I heard: “art to sell,  your art, as creativity is your way forward now as this is your love, brings you joy and following this will take you from the black into the light!”

I spent about 40 minutes finishing the painting, I was conscious that it was breakfast time but I just kept painting until I felt it was complete. This is my joy- time just evaporates when I am doing what I love.

That night I went to a winter Solstice evening where we did a ceremony where we let go of what was holding us back and set intentions to move forward towards one’s intention.

I was delighted as this flowed on from my spirit guide ritual from the morning and I formed the following intention which is my current screen saver.

my vision

Do you have a spirit guide? How do you connect?

I would love to hear from you in the comments

  1. Oh I just love that your spirit guide invited you to step into the rainbow and offer your art for all the world to share. What a wonderful message and one I think you’re ready to embrace. Looking forward to watching your magical journey unfold lovely lady xxx

  2. Suzie, I really love the questions you asked, “How can I move from lack into abundance?” and “How can I step joyfully into my leadership?”. These intentions are truly from the heart opening inner doors first and then outer opportunities. Such a lovely post. Thank you for sharing!

    1. Hi Zinnia,
I love your name- Zinnias were flowers my mother loved and Dad grew in the garden for her. 🙂 Thanks for you comments- yes sometimes when we ask questions of our guides or in prayer we are open to new ways arisong. xox

  3. My spirit guide isn’t so visual. She’s more wordy and feeling. I’m getting ready to share one of my lifesaving moments in my July and August newsletters. Beautiful art work.

    1. Hi Sheila, thank you- the art will keep flowing, today will be 170 of my 365 days of painting a heart whisper- will I run out of ideas. I think if I just keep looking at nature i will always have something new and fresh xox

  4. Suzie ~ I’m always glad to read about you taking those “big steps forward” with your art. It’s clearly a passion and I enjoy the energy your work carries. As for guides? I’m not always sure “who” but… I do my best to pay attention. Thanks.

  5. Oh I love this so much! Communicate with my Guides and my Higher Self all the time. I ask questions for clarity, direction, and strategy for business and life. And the funny thing is, I’m a coach who uses neuroscience to help create change, and talking to Spirit gives me not only the exact same answers as the scientific method, much but gives me the answers much much quicker. Love it!

  6. Suzie I <3 this post. Its a good reminder to stop and listen to what your spirit guides are telling you. I have never tried art as I am more of a writer myself but after reading this I'm considering giving it a go.

    1. Welcome Rebecca and thank you, Yes I think I will put a workshop together as we all can untap our creative spirit . Please let me know if you explored the art way. xx

  7. Suzie,

I love that your spirit guides lead you to what you need to create!

I agree with Marquita that there are certainly times when you know you’re not alone, so that probably means you’re not ever alone whether you know it or not. I think creativity, passion and intuition are things that allow us to “hear” that more clearly.

    xoxox.

    1. Hi Jessica ,
Yes I agree that when we open up to what i call the whispers of our hearts, our passion and intuition open and allow so much more to flow xoxo

  8. Wonderful to get such clear guidance, Suzie. No, I’m not working with a spirit guide, but I’m open to getting signs and I do get them from time to time.

    1. Yes Sandra- I think the more I sit in silence, pray and meditate the more intouch I am. I am sure with you daily practices you get many signs , it all comes from within 🙂 xx

  9. Suzie,

Very interesting stuff and how enlightening for you. I haven’t tried to contact my spirit guides in years. Good reminder to do it. I don’t understand the first question on your list.

    1. Hi Debbie,
The first question what what’s right in my face- what do I need to face up to right now- or what am I hiding from?
Did you try to get in touch with your spirit guides? xx

  10. Hey Suzie, that is beautiful! I found my spirit guide when I was in a year-long spiritual/healing class. I asked for my guide to get in touch with me and he did. His name is Musterfus and he is a very playful monk in a brown robe. I asked for my angel to appear and one night a business card with the picture of an angel appeared in a dream with the name Ha-Nora on it. 🙂 I have a bunch of wise guys and clowns for guides and I like that!

    1. Jean Ii love your story and what a wonderful name. Love the wise guys and clowns I have a spirit guide called Lily I received from a visualization and i have been given another one Jojo by Sonia Choquette. This exercise has me remembering to call on them more xx

      1. Yes, Suzie, they do help us and I give my guides and angels permission to help me and teach me/guide me whenever they want to. And I am aware of them sometimes, and I know they make me laugh :). I am so glad you found some of yours. I am sure we both have more but these must be the main two 🙂 Like I said, wise guys 🙂

  11. Suzie, I’ve never been very good at journeying, so I use tools that open me up to guidance. A card reading, astrology, phases of the Moon, meditation, mantra, walking with my hands open and my heart open and my eyes up — to name a few.

I’ve been resisting my artwork, even though it calls to me every day. I think I’m judging where I am with my skills and also what wants to come out of me. I simply want to paint my prayers. And I think that might just be good enough!

I will share your beautiful post right now!

    Sue

    1. Hi Sue,
You are so good at all those tools you have – they are part of your journeying 🙂 YES that will be just good enough, let go of all the judgement and paint those prayers- you are doing it for you not for anyone else.

We all have doubts- I have doubts as I put up a blog post- that it could be more etc then i get so many loving comments that inspire me I know my heart know better than my head LOL Love Suzie xx

  12. I love this Suzie…. I am actually leading a 27 day journey of healing and balancing channeling message from the collective Spirit Guides of the entire community. It’s such humbling and beautiful work. Thank you for this article – for encouraging us all to listen to the whispers of our hearts….

  13. I love all your art Suzie but this one is especially stunning! I’m not sure if I have a spiritual guide or not, but I think I must because there have certainly been times in my life when there was no question the ‘Universe’ was listening. Call it coincidences, mini miracles, whatever, sometimes you just know you aren’t alone in your journey.

    1. Thank you Marty. Love your comment as I knew this was special as I kept painting when I was meant to be doing something else. Yes that;s so true and i am sure you do have a spirit guide and I was going to record an exercise for you to find your spirit guide- I will do that as another post i think xx
