if-yo-could-wave-a magic-wand“Be The Change You Wish To See In The World” ~Gandhi

If you were given a magic wand what would you want to change?

Do you love change?  Do you fear change? Does it excite you? Does it scare you?

I used to always love change, saw it as an adventure. The past few years although I have experienced much change especially on the health front, there is part of me that has withdrawn and felt fear around the change. That has then spilled over into other areas of my life. There are elements of hiding, well that’s safe and then I don’t need to step outside what’s safe and known.

We can feel fear because change is often a step out onto the unknown, it’s about getting out of out comfort zone, taking a risk and there the adventure begins.

When I am not embracing change I can get stuck in the what if this or maybe that! You know that feeling?

BORING! So yes it’s time for change.

They must often change, who would be constant in happiness or wisdom. ~Confucius

It is a time of transformation in the world right now too. So I am stepping up to the change plate and as Deepak says:

Yes love, when we truly embrace ourself and be the love that we are we naturally step into change.

So I am Ready for Change

There is change going on here at The Heart Whisper as I am revamping my blog, firstly because this theme is misbehaving and secondly, I want to share more of my art and healing with you.

I am putting together a change package which will include my book on  the emotions of change. More about that next week.

Then after 10 years here in Tweed we will be moving- a new adventure, plus big purging.

I keep hearing Karen Hager’s words,  from a mastermind session earlier this year, ringing in my ears: I want to get more of Suzie, but I am not sure how to!

I would love your help with this. I have put a survey together Help Me To Get To Know You Better which I would love for you to fill in- takes about 5 minutes and you could win your very own Heart Whisper 🙂

If you read my Heart Whisper this week you may have filled it in : thank you.

  1. Change is an inevitable consequence of living. As long as we live, or pursuing life, change we must. We just don’t notice the changes we make in any given day because of we do a lot of these on the fly.

What we find difficult and scare are those that take us way, way far from our usual route. Those need resoluteness or determination.

  2. I wish I could type what I really want to change on a public forum…. it’s not the change I fear anymore, change would be welcome. It’s living with this constant, this never ending, never changing constant battle to beat the odds, and some days I fear it’s winning.

  3. I would love to earn a living doing what I love! I am learning one day at a time from people like you who have already gone there. Thanks for inspiring me!!

  4. Hi Suzie,

This may sound cliched but change is the supreme constant that is visible in the world. That said,it is also the most disconcerting prospect in all that we do or think.

It’s because of the unpredictability that change entails. We all want everything to unfold according to our absolute wish list.essentially we would prefer things were always ,completely predictable.
But change …..overthrows all such preferences that we may harbour. And so change morphs itself into the monster that we love to dislike.

    Thanks

  5. Wow…how exciting a move..that is coming up for me… Suzie I could not get into the survey monkey quiz…

Great post and for me the only constant in my life since the death of my husband 12 years ago has been change. Most of it I rebelled against.. Change and I have reached a truce and are at relative peace now.

Love your work Cheers Di xx

    1. Sorry here is the link for survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PSY3CYF. Yes making peace with change is wonderful, I like you rebelled, I have been indifferent about making change making in some aspects of my life in the past few years, beside I have had huge health changes that I embraced. Thanks for your comment makes my heart sing.
      Love Suzie xxx

  6. I wish you every success with your sites transformation. Developing our platform is an exciting adventure and will often require several makeovers. Your passion and beliefs are clearly demonstrated in your writing, and anything that can enhance such a just cause and passionate writer deserves to happen. The magic wand we all need to wave is the one we carry within us, belief in our purpose

  7. Wow, how amazing there are at least 3 of us that we know of who’re embarking on big changes Suzie.
And as you and I are aware, changes can’t occur in the outer world and stick, unless changes are occurring in our inner world.

So I’m truly happy for you and imagining wonderful things awaiting you as you turn the corner into change. 🙂

    1. Yes I know Elle 🙂
Yes sometimes I feel I have done the inner work and it is I know ongoing once we embark on the change path.
Most days I am excited, sometimes the ego checks in:)

  8. I would love to overcome arthritis and allergies! I know that diet has a lot to do with it and I do what I know to do, most of the time. I keep experimenting and asking Universe to help!
Congratulations on making changes, Suzie! You GO Girl! <3

  9. I’m excited for you Suzie! There is one thing about “me” that that has caused more heartache than I care to think of but I’m not so sure I would change it even if I could. I am a total sucker when it comes to giving people second chances. There’s a Maya Angelou quote that goes, “When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.” There have been times I’ve actually considered getting that as a tattoo. 🙂
