Abundance Comes from Being Grateful

Each morning as I walk on the beach I am reminded of how blessed I am. Some mornings I just find a rock to sit on and mediate to the sound of the sea. Just mediating on the simple things in life makes me feel abundant each day.

The beauty of the beach

The clear blue water

The ripples the waves make,

The clear, clean air

The rays of the sun warming my soul

The cool sand between my toes

The patterns in the sand

The rock to meditate on

Shared thoughts with Des

Saying good morning to familiar faces

Smiles from friends and friendly faces

Watching a surfer ride a wave

The feeling of freedom

The wonder of nature

Each morning I find at least 10 things to be grateful for.

This starts my day in an abundant way.

What do you do to start your day in an abundant way?

Have a deliciously abundant day

  1. Hi Lauren,
Thanks for dropping by. Yes what you say is so true, what we give we often get back tenfold. I feel that this is happening with this blog

  2. Thank you Suzie for the gratitude reminder. I usually write down in my gratitude journal what I am grateful for that day and I find I get more of what I am grateful for. It is so powerful 🙂
