Loving you is the closest thing there is to heaven.~ Author Unknown

Do You really really LOVE You?

I Love youCan you look in the mirror and joyfully say : “I LOVE YOU. I REALLY LOVE YOU”

How often do you look in the mirror and say I love you? Once a day? Maybe more? Or never? I have a heart with the words I love you stuck to the mirror in my bathroom and I am guilty of not standing there and actually saying daily  ” I love you” Mirror-love

Louise Hay talks about the importance of mirror work in You Can Heal Your Life . Louise does mirror exercises daily and gets clients to get a small mirror and looks into their eyes and say ” I love and accept you exactly as you are”

If you have a mirror handy? Come and join me on Suzie TV and practice with me. It will raise your vibes:)

This simple, but I know not always easy exercise will help you increase your love for you and raise your love vibes..  Let me know in the comments  how you feel after you have completed your mirror exercises.  Maybe you have another exercise that raises your love vibes?

  1. Suzie I love this it has been for sure one the most potent tools I have accessed in order to change my feelings towards myself over the last couple of years. It is so simple and yet extremely powerful! Thank you for sharing!!

  2. Thanks for reminding me how powerful mirror work is. I have always found it to be hard at first but then, easier as I continued. I have a really hard time looking at the mirror and seeing my tummy and still loving myself! I guess that is something to work with also.

    1. Hi Jean,
Focus you beautiful eyes on your face and look into your eyes as you speak and love yourself as you are. PS I understand about the tummy, the on part of my body that I still have to learn to love xxoo

      1. Thank you, Suzie. I wonder how many other women have the same “tummy trouble” that you and I do? Back in the old days, plump women were the prizes! I have art books that prove it 🙂 Lots of love to you!

        1. Jean , Des keeps telling me that I could just accept that I am a full bodied woman. he thinks I look great. So with that and you comment I think this then goes back to totally loving oneself ♡♡♡

  3. Hi Suzie! Thank you for sharing this beautiful gift of mirror work. I didn’t realize that what I’ve been doing for the past few years, on my new journey to self-love, has been mirror work. I’ve used the mirror to help me battle negative thoughts. I stare deep into my eyes and speak the positive thought after my mind thinks a negative thought. I keep doing this until the negative chatter starts to slow down. Not until today had I ever said “I love you” like this–to myself, in the mirror. I wasn’t expecting it to be that hard. I wasn’t expecting it to bring me to tears. Thank you for guiding me on my journey of self love. I’m forever grateful. Big hugs & lots of love!

    1. Hello Kelly,
welcome and thanks for your wonderful comment. I am delighted that I was able to help you, sounds like you had a real breakthough. Yes we can say affirmations to release negativity. it is not until we really face ourself with emotion that transformation comes about. My delight to be your teacher.
love and hugs to you ♡♡♡

  4. I just recently heard about a mirror exercise from Aimee Serafini and found it hard to start. It took me three tries to get the “I Love You Amanda” from my mouth. I think it’s something to work on. Lovely to see you teaching it Suzie!

  5. I love you, I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you.
I am learning how to love myself more and more each day. On the outside it’s easy, but the inside is what counts. Thank you for this.

  6. you can heal your life was a breakthrough book for me Suzie, it led me on the path where I am now. I can truly say I love you to myself 🙂

  7. I always love your blogs! It took me many years to find how to love me. After having been in a situation when I was younger that pretty much took away how I saw the beauty in myself, I had a hard time even looking in the mirror to see any beauty. I always wondered when my husband was staring at when he did look at me, but little did I realize what beauty he saw. Now I have found that beauty and it is so wonderful to LOVE myself!!

    1. Thank you Lisa, what a joyous comment about my blogs.I know that feeling you have shared my husband said the same and slowly I have been able to embrace my own love and my beauty Namaste ♡♡♡

  8. Suzie.. I love you! I can feel the love from your video.. and though I do say it often to myself, I don’t spend time like this in the mirror.. i bet its positively igniting.. 9. Thanks, Suzie! I just love Suzietv.

This is a great exercise, and something I’m adding to my recent self-love-apalooza. It feels good, and it feels right, somehow. If I really can’t say I love you to myself in the mirror, how will I accept that love exists everywhere?

    Big Love <3

    1. Hi Jenny,
Thank you I am so happy that Suzie TV resonates with you. I love your self-love-apalooza great idea. Did you notice a difference in adding the mirror work to your apalooza?
