7 Simple Ways To Unleash Your Joy Now

What Fills Your Heart With Joy Each Day?

This week I m excited to be part of Unleash Your Joy a free  virtual summit where you will learn new simple ways to allow more joy to flow into your life.

This morning I decided to make a video on how I bring joy and happiness into my life each day:

I have shared that I use the beach to bring daily joy into my life.

Here are 7 simple ways for you to use to unleash your joy daily

  • spend time in nature
  • give thanks for the blessings in your life
  • do  something that makes you heart sing. For me this is to cook, paint, create, laugh with friends
  • be in the now, this removes any space for worry
  • watch children at play
  • walk down a new street- do something new
  • choose to be happy , this brings feeling of joy

I am honored to be part of Unleash Your Joy... a complimentary, virtual event beginning May 9th, with  my friend Carmela Garone, an integrative wellness coach. Carmela created Unleash Your Joy Now – a complimentary, virtual event beginning May 9th.  She’s bringing together 21 experts (including me!) to share our secrets for making simple shifts that will allow you to finally live the life of your dreams.

  1. What a great idea to express your joy at your favorite place, the beach. For me, the beach was always a great place to go. Now, I live in the dessert. Either way, part of my joy is being able to look out my window as I work and see nature’s beauty. Now, instead of a vast ocean, I have a vast mountain, and I am joyfully grateful.

  2. Great tips Suzie! I try to journal every day and make a list of what I’m thankful for. It really puts things into perspective. One thing that gives me joy is the simple act of having a lovely hot shower. It really relaxes me and it’s a time when I often come up with creative ideas. The other thing that brings me joy is be watch children movies with my 11-year-old.

I love the beach as much as I love the mountains, Suzie. I guess Nature is the perfect serenity setting for me. I loved the 7 tips you’ve shared in the post. I start my morning with a prayer even before I get out of bed and have trained myself over the years to ask myself ‘what kind of a day do I want?’ and set the intention. It helps me stay peaceful even when things go haywire. Enjoy yourself at the summit while you spread your message to those listeners who need to hear you and benefit.

    1. Yes mountains too are wonderful and I also love the desert, and the beach is my fave. Thank you for you kind comments. I love that you set that daily intention Vatsala and the peace it brings to you. I know when I let my daily habits slip chaos can arrive 🙂 xxoo

  4. I would love to be at the beach with you Suzie! It definitely is joy making for me! I have many things that bring me joy. Today I had an unexpected conversation about health and wellness with my cousin and his wife, and I realized how joyful I feel when and if I can help or support others. I had art class this morning and that is always both joyful and yet can be tormenting at the times too. Being in nature, especially where there are trees and colourful flowers, also brings me joy. Nature is so wondrous and such a great teacher. The event sounds like a wonderful way to hear different ways that people express and find their joy. Wishing you a lovely experience guesting on it! xo

  5. Sounds like it’s going to be a wonderful event, especially with you involved Suzie! I start my day by enjoying my first cup of coffee on my deck as a reminder of how lucky I am to be able to live in such a beautiful place. I look to the right and there’s the ocean, in front of me I see what remains of an ancient Hawaiian heiau on a nearby hill, and to the left is the West Maui Mountains. If that weren’t enough, there’s my wonderful little dog Lucy, great friends, and the awesome people who follow my blog and gift me with the opportunity to help them grow stronger and more resilient in life. I believe I am one very lucky lady. 🙂

  6. Being a beach girl I especially loved this post 🙂 Thank you for reminding us of how simple it is to see and experience joy. This post, and especially your video, made me smile 🙂

  7. Great ways to unleash your joy Suzie. Whatever it takes to feel happy is what we all need, choosing it, being grateful, being present in the now and leaving the past where it belongs, whatever it is, it can only open us to greater abundance in all things. Love this.
