Are you ready to leave your comfort zone to discover your true self?

These journaling prompts come from today’s reading from Simple Abundance

I picked this book up last Friday at the Lifeline Book Fair and have used it everyday since- a wonderful first morning read to raise the vibes to abundance..

I love the story that Sarah Ban Breathnach shared the story of May Kingsley who in 1893 went on safari in Africa after the death of her parents to find herself and discover her purpose.

To leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition

This is when you will discover yourself.

This touched my soul

I am trusting my intuition to guide me on my new journey.

The one I am taking in my business.

Yes I am leaving the city of my comfort.

city of comfort

Stepping up to be the Intuitive Creative Businesswoman, putting back on the entrepreneurial hat I wore when I had my very successful textile art business.

I will still be powered by love.

This comes by opening my heart to love yes listening to my intuition. I can be on the freedom train, empowering myself and empowering at least one person each day to reach in and discover their true purpose and be on their own freedom train.

The one full of love, joy and gratitude.

Of physical health, financial health and inner peace.

I’m excited to be writing this and writing my future life.
What will my heart whisper to me today, I wonder?

Yes I woke with a SMILE
And greeted the day with love and gratitude
This allows the JOY that comes each day as I take ME TIME
This creates a life of FLOW
Where I do choose HAPPINESS as I begin each day
Excited at what will manifest as I let go of all that has been stopping me over these past few years and now allows me to move forward with total FOCUS.
I am on my true heart path now
I am creating the life of FREEDOM both within and without.

I love this reading today.
It has my heart smiling and bursting with joy.

This affirms for me that in trusting and following my intuition, I am honouring my mantra for 2018 of being true to me and staying in the flow

I am you going on a safari, a new journey.
A journey of love, joy, friendship and it is so exciting to be moving closer to the physical health, financial health and inner peace.
This is empowering and does create the ripples of change.

What will be your safari?

Open your heart to love
Dare to dream again
All my love
Suzie xo

  1. Brava, my sister sojourner! I’ m appreciating your ONENESS statement, “I am you going on safari.” And I wish you well, safe and drama-free travels, Suzie, on this inner journey that you’ve so clearly outlined.
I also love Simple Abundance and read it often since my mom gifted me a copy of it in 1999 while living on the island of Roatan, Honduras. It’s my favorite book and everyone who knows me, gets a copy as I rescue them from thrift stores–their loss, my treasure to gift.

    1. Thank you sista, I love that- drama free travels- my picture is of ease and flow . Yes the inner journey continues daily to be able to take a bold outer journey.
I had a copy many years ago and in a move i think is was mislaid, I am going to do what you and rescue them as my copy was and pass them on. Feel blessed I got the hard cover version, Pages yellowed but in great condition with the original ribbon book mark too xxoo

  2. This sounds like the journey I went on about 20 years ago, leaving a great job in Boston and following my intuition that said, “Go west and do something with horses” (all things completely out of my comfort zone). I ended up on a two year sabbatical where I found myself and realized that I wanted to settle in the “jungle” of the mountains of Colorado where I happily live with my family today.

The amazing life we all want is just a few steps outside of our comfort zone. We just have to take the baby steps each day to get there. As the saying goes: Do one thing that scares you every day.

    1. Paige, that is amazing , thanks for sharing your journey outside your comfort zone . Yes I remember that do one thing that scares you every day is a great thing xo

      1. I have been on such a safari since I retired. I feel a bit breathless at times as I moved through a major reinvention and achievement of things I once thought were impossible. Thanks for the question!

  3. So inspiring! My safari right now is starting a new job and seeing where it takes me. This is way out of my comfort zone as it’s my first “real” job in probably 20 years and the first one since my brain injury. It’s a jungle out there, for sure! A little scary but mostly exhilarating. 🙂

  4. Your post has a very positive and uplifting feel about it, Suzie. I can hear you walking away from your comfort zone and taking the journey of discovery.

For me stepping out of my comfort zone means knowing that I bring high value and transformation to my clients and accepting that I can charge more for my services. Others recognize this and my coaches have been telling me for years! I’ve finally accepted it and am also creating my 1-Year Signature Program to bring even more value.

Thank you for sharing your safari. There will be twists and turns on the journey and I look forward to reading about them.

  5. I LOVE the idea of leaving the city of my comfort to go into the wilderness of my intuition. I’ll carry that thought with me for inspiration. It’s popped some images into my head as well so I may “have to” head to my studio to paint! Thank you for sharing this post, Suzie. Powerful!

    1. Hi Aprille, would love to see what you painted as you took those images with you. I have just been cleaning my studio so I can start to paint again. Great that you found it powerful xx

  6. Exciting, Suzie! I love the journey/adventure metaphor – for me its full of excitement and discovery and greatness, and I feel that beautiful energy in this post as well. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes you, and us.

    1. Yes Reba it is and this morning I made a decision to play full out- taking me out of my comfort zone. Yes a safari has the adventure elements to add to the ongoing journey of discovery that we decided to embark on. Keep reading as I will keep sharing xxo
